Changing Power On Loss Settings on the Pro 14

To have the Pro 14 automatically turn back on after restoration of power in the event of a power loss follow the directions below:

Step 1: Power system on and immediately start tapping the delete key repeatedly until the BIOS appears.

Step 2: Use the right arrow key to navigate to the advanced tab.

Step 3: Then use the arrow keys to select APM Configuration.

Step 4: Hit enter.

Step 5: On this page there will be an option for the restore AC power loss option and you can select from power on, power off, and last state.

Step 6: Select the desired option and hit enter, then escape once, navigate to the exit tab, and select save changes and reset.
